About the Role
We are seeking a creative, proactive and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract.
Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Admissions, you will help deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that support the attraction, recruitment and retention of students across the Nursery, Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form.
They will use their skills as a confident writer, photographer and video editor, able to quickly turnaround stories and ideas, while managing multiple deadlines to take the role of 'investigative journalist' when it comes to uncovering the many good news stories across the school to showcase our unique identity and to promote our values and objectives.

What You Will Do
You will lead and contribute to work including:
Strategy & Brand
Deliver high-impact recruitment campaigns that drive admissions enquiries.
Ensure St Chris is authentically and consistently represented in all communications.
Monitor and report on campaign success using data, analytics and ROI metrics.
Digital Content & Channels
Manage our website and keep content fresh, engaging and accurate.
Create high-quality digital content; photography, video, stories, newsletters, social media.
Develop channel-specific content strategies and evaluate performance.
Communications & PR
Find and share stories from Nursery to Sixth Form and beyond.
Write newsletter content including ownership of The Roundup.
Build media relationships, issue press releases, and enhance our public profile.
Design, Print & Events
Work with designers or use Adobe/Canva to produce eye-catching, on-brand materials.
Support admissions and outreach events locally and internationally.
Ensure projects are delivered to deadline and within budget.

A degree or relevant professional marketing/communications qualification
Strong digital skills; social media, CMS, creative tools, analytics
The ability to write, photograph, film and edit compelling stories
Capacity to work at pace, juggle deadlines and think creatively
