The role
We're looking for an experienced and strategic Behaviour Change Marketing and Communications Lead to shape, deliver, and lead integrated marketing and communications campaigns that inspire real and lasting change.
You'll work as part of a fast-paced agency environment to lead a dynamic in-house team.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering innovative, insight-led behaviour change campaigns, reach target audiences effectively through innovative and creative channels/tactics and deliver measurable impact for our clients.
This is a highly collaborative role, working across internal teams, partner organisations, and clients to deliver campaigns that make a difference in people's lives.
You will be expected to drive and have access to a car. You will also be expected to travel to other ICE offices from time to time.
Key elements of the day-to-day role:
Lead the creation of behaviour change marketing and communication strategies across a wide range of public and private sector projects.
Translate behaviour change insight into clear, compelling messaging and multi-channel content plans, staying ahead of the curve on digital tools, channels and trends.
Align campaign strategies with client objectives with measurable KPIs and evaluation plans, that showcase campaign metrics and insights to further develop client work.
Support the wider ICE team with client and business growth opportunities through bidding, proactive sales marketing campaigns and excellent client relationships.
Oversee the design, production, and rollout of high-quality communications materials and content, across digital, print, and experiential formats.
Coordinate and manage campaign timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
Implement and optimise SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
Manage paid advertising campaigns (SEM) across display, search, and social platforms.
Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite.
Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
Act as a key client contact on communications-led projects, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Develop and oversee the creation of compelling content including case studies, blogs, videos, social media, and newsletters.
Line manages and supports the professional development of the marketing and communications team including but not limited to 121's, appraisals and all things employee relations.
Act at all times within the Company's rules, policies, procedures and financial regulations.

Essential existing skills/experience
Proven experience (5+ years) in a marketing or communications leadership role, preferably with a behaviour change or social marketing focus.1-2 years of experience in a marketing or digital marketing role.
Strong understanding of behaviour change principles (e.g., COM-B, EAST, nudge theory) and how to apply them in communication campaigns.
Experience of working in agency / multi-client account environments.
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and GEO-targeting strategies.
Experience with digital marketing tools such as:
Good Ads & Google Analytics.
Meta Ads Manager.
Mailchimp, HubSpot or similar email platforms.
Wordpress, Umbraco and other CMS platforms.
Canva & Adobe Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Synergist).
Knowledge of marketing trends and the appetite to stay up to date with sector changes and technology/trend advancements.
Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
Comfortable with a hybrid working model (a mix of office and home-based).
Experience in using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other digital platforms.
