Overview



Are you a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for creating unforgettable brand experiences? We're looking for a talented Marketing Events & Communications Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-impact business events from Innov8 regional shows and Golf Days to conferences and customer trade shows.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates with clarity and creativity, and is eager to make a measurable impact. While the position doesn't include direct line management, you'll play a key role in mentoring and supporting the development of our marketing team.

Key Responsibilities



Event Management

Lead the end-to-end delivery of business events, ensuring seamless execution and memorable experiences. Coordinate logistics, liaise with suppliers and venues, and provide on-site support. Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign activity linked to events. Measure event success through ROI tracking, attendee feedback, and performance reporting. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Marketing & Campaigns

Support the Marketing Director in developing and executing B2B strategies that promote our business solutions. Contribute to campaign planning, asset creation, and initiatives that drive engagement. Use CRM systems to build workflows, analyse customer data, and demonstrate ROI. Embrace AI tools and emerging tech to enhance campaign performance and personalise communications.
Communications

Craft compelling content and copy that supports company objectives and resonates with target audiences. Develop marketing collateral including invitations, presentations, case studies, newsletters, and post-event communications. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to tone and guidelines across all materials.
Analytics & Reporting

Use analytics tools to monitor marketing performance and optimise ROI. Share insights with senior leadership and key internal stakeholders.
Team Support

Mentor and support the marketing team, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Skills & Competencies



Proven experience in marketing, with a strong focus on event management and communications. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with a customer-first mindset. Willingness to travel for events. Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications & Experience



Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a B2B marketing or events role. Degree in Marketing, Business, Events Management, or related field (preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (including SharePoint); experience with CRM and event management tools. Experience managing event budgets and working with external suppliers (advantageous). Familiarity with creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (advantageous).
