Yurtshire is a luxury glamping and wellness resort located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, set within 100 acres of stunning grounds that include woodland and a serene lake. Our unique Tree Yurts and Tree Houses provide the perfect getaway, complemented by a sauna, yoga yurt, and spa--ideal for wellness retreats.

Our sister company YurtBar creates spectacular apres-ski villages for Christmas parties in Leeds and Manchester, featuring roaring fires, pine trees, three-course meals, cocktails, live DJs, photo booths, and video booths.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on supporting marketing initiatives and organizing events at both YurtBar and Yurtshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, a flair for creativity, and a solid understanding of marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:



- Assist in marketing and promoting YurtBar events to boost attendance and engagement.

- Organize and coordinate new events, including wellness retreats and other unique experiences.

- Develop and implement social media campaigns to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience.

- Update and maintain the company website, ensuring accurate and visually appealing content.

- Create basic graphic design materials for promotional purposes, including flyers, social media graphics, and newsletters.

- Utilize Excel to track event planning, budgets, and marketing campaign performance.

- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative event ideas.

- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.

- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.

- Strong IT skills, including experience with website updates and content management systems.

- Basic graphic design skills, with proficiency in design software or tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.

- Previous experience in event organizing or coordination is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 25,000.00-38,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Ripon HG4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Work Location: In person
