YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE




We are looking for a Marketing & New Business Executive to join our Business Development team at Medialab. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in marketing or new business, looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive agency environment.


You will report into the Senior Business Development Executive and work closely with the wider team. You'll play an important supporting role in helping to raise the profile of the agency and contribute to new business growth, while developing hands-on experience across marketing, communications and new business activity.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM



Marketing & Communication:



Help draft and schedule content for Medialab's social media platforms - LinkedIn and Instagram - with support from the team.


Assist in updating marketing collateral and team assets (e.g. case studies, presentation slides, video content)


Support website content updates and asset uploads.


Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across materials, with guidance from the team.


Assist in organising internal and external events.


Support reporting on marketing activity (e.g. social stats, email performance)


Assist with internal communication initiatives.


Contribute to Medialab's visual communication using tools such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.


New Business:





Assist in preparing for new business pitches - including presentation formatting, logistical requirements, and compiling documents.


Conduct background research on prospective clients and markets.


Help monitor and summarise competitor activity for team use.


Keep our HubSpot CRM system up to date with client and new business contacts and activity.


WHAT WE LOOK FOR:





A keen interest in marketing, communications, and business development.


Strong attention to detail.


Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.


A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.


Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)


Experience with tools like Canva, HubSpot or Adobe Creative Suite platforms.


Any prior experience in a marketing, communications, or business development setting (including internships) is beneficial, but not required.
