Mangoletsi is a privately owned car dealership located half way between Knutsford and Holmes Chapel on the A50 London road. We have been in business almost 60 years and have a great team who all work well together. We sell new MG cars and a full range of used cars and brands. We have state of the art aftercare and warranty facilities for MG, Alfa, Jeep, Fiat and Abarth.

Role Overview



The

Marketing and Renewals Executive

will be responsible for managing all marketing activities aimed at driving customer engagement, increasing sales leads, and enhancing customer retention through proactive renewal strategies. This individual will work closely with the sales team, digital marketing, and customer service to develop and execute both online and offline marketing campaigns, as well as manage the dealership's customer renewal processes (service plans, finance agreements, etc.).

Marketing Responsibilities:



Campaign Management

: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to increase footfall, online traffic, and sales for both new and used cars. This includes email marketing, digital advertising (PPC, social media), print ads, and local events.

Digital Presence

: Maintain and improve the dealership's online presence through regular website updates, social media engagement (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and content creation (blogs, videos, customer reviews).

Branding & Advertising

: Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing platforms and advertising materials. Collaborate with external agencies or internal teams to create compelling promotional content.

Lead Generation & Nurturing

: Manage and nurture customer leads, including overseeing the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to ensure timely follow-up with prospects and past customers.

Market Research

: Conduct market research to understand competitor strategies, customer preferences, and industry trends. Use this information to adjust marketing tactics and identify new opportunities.

Renewals Responsibilities:



Customer Retention

: Create and implement strategies to retain customers and encourage repeat business, focusing on renewals of service plans, warranties, and finance packages.

Renewal Campaigns

: Plan and run targeted campaigns for customers nearing the end of their finance or service plan agreements. Promote relevant offers, trade-in opportunities, or vehicle upgrades.

Customer Database Management

: Manage and maintain an up-to-date customer database, ensuring all renewal dates, contact details, and preferences are tracked accurately.

Collaboration with Sales

: Work closely with the sales team to ensure customers are notified of relevant promotions or incentives related to vehicle upgrades or trade-ins.

Customer Communication

: Oversee communication with customers regarding renewals, including emails, phone calls, and SMS. Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customers feel valued.

Key Skills and Experience



Experience

: Proven track record in a marketing or sales role, ideally within the automotive industry. Experience in both digital and traditional marketing strategies is essential.

Digital Marketing

: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp). Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus.

CRM and Database Management

: Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or automotive-specific CRMs) and managing customer data.

Project Management

: Ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Customer Focused

: Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach. Experience in customer service or retention-based roles is highly desirable.

Analytical Skills

: Strong ability to analyze data, measure campaign effectiveness, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Creativity

: Ability to generate fresh and engaging marketing ideas, from digital content to local promotional events.

Automotive Industry Knowledge

: Understanding of the automotive market, car buying behavior, and finance options is beneficial but not essential.

Increase in overall lead generation and sales conversion rates. Growth in customer retention and renewals (service, finance, warranties). Improvement in brand visibility and engagement across digital platforms. Return on investment (ROI) from marketing campaigns. Regular reporting on campaign performance, customer feedback, and sales growth.

Salary and Benefits



Competitive salary based on experience. Commission or bonus structure tied to marketing success and renewal targets. Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
