We are seeking a Marketing and Retail Liaison Manager to join our team at Charter Walk Shopping Centre, a thriving scheme in the heart of Burnley. The Centre is home to over 75 fantastic brands from high street fashion to independent retailers and well-known food outlets. This role is pivotal in creating a platform for retailers to succeed through proactive liaison and effective delivery of the Centre marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good marketing knowledge and a passion for supporting retail partners. This position requires strong organisation skills, creativity and a proactive approach to building and managing relationships.
Duties
Build and maintain strong retailer relationships by regular contact and visits with the aim of understanding their business and supporting them in delivering sales
Work with the Centre Manager and marketing agency to support the implementation of the marketing plan and evaluation of events and promotions
Assist the Centre Manager in researching community and commercial initiatives that link to the Centre's overall ESG strategy that will help develop a vibrant event and community programme across the year
Support the Centre Manager in forging links with the wider local community and aid and encourage initiatives with the local Charity Programme. Work with the management team to identify space within the Centre that can be used for a diverse range of community activities
Work with the Centre's marketing agency to enhance the Centre website, providing content, interest pieces and prizes for competitions that engage local interest and promote the Centre and community initiatives
Qualifications
and experience
A good understanding of retail with experience within a shopping centre or similar environment
Strong communication and relationship building skills. Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and build a rapport with retailers
Clear understanding of marketing along with a good knowledge of key social media streams, as well as website and social media content management systems
Effective organisation and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload under pressure
Innovative with the ability to think creatively and apply this to events and communications
Proactive and enthusiastic
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to enable effective data collection and analysis
Flexible - able to work at weekends, in the evenings or on Bank Holidays if events are taking place at the Centre
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
