Overview

Looking to kick-start your career in marketing? As a Marketing Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working towards a qualification. Veetee is a global ambient foods and rice company, a major supplier to retailers, wholesalers, and other food manufacturing businesses. We have two factories and three warehouses in Rochester, Kent, one manufacturing site and corporate office in India and a Sales & Distribution team in the USA.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Creative & Branding

Assist in designing and managing product artwork (including international packaging & translations). Make sure all products are listed correctly with retailers. Manage QR codes on packaging to connect customers with the right content.

Marketing & Events

Help to organise trade shows across the UK & EU. Support internal communications--help create newsletters and keep company messaging on-brand. Track in-store marketing displays to see how our products look on the shelves.

Product Launch & Customer Insights

Support new product launches in the UK & USA by tracking key deadlines. Monitor online customer reviews and report key feedback. Work with the Customer Services team to track and resolve complaints.

Business & Admin Support

Assist with creating, tracking, and reporting purchase orders. Keep a record of all your projects and skills learned during the apprenticeship. Attend college sessions as needed to work towards an NVQ qualification.

Your training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Requirements

Excellent IT skills A minimum of 5 GCSE's, or equivalent, at Grade 4 to 9 (C to A) including English and Maths.
An organised individual Good communication and impersonal skills. Creative and analytical. Attention to detail. Creative problem-solving skills. Keeps calm under pressure. Adaptability to changing trends Punctual and reliable. Motivated and strong desire to learn and develop. A can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to meet expectations.
