The role




Our award winning marketing team are responsible for Albert Goodman's marketing, business development, and communications, and work on a wide range of activities with the ultimate aim of bringing new clients to AG.


We're growing the team and looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join us from January 2026 - this is an entry level role where you can start to build the knowledge and skillset for a successful marketing career. Alongside your day to day responsibilities, you will be studying for a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship via Pro Apprenticeships. You can read out more about this here. Your role will include:

Assisting the Digital Marketing Executive with day-to-day website administration Monitoring and responding to our online chat platforms for incoming enquiries Assisting with the creation and coordination of content for the firm's marketing newsletter Using Canva for creative and graphic design support for marketing materials Monitoring event materials and stock in the storeroom, ensuring supplies are replenished when required Supporting the booking and coordination of our people's attendance at external events Attending and providing hands-on support at events Assisting with event administration, including producing name badges and other materials Uploading articles, blogs, images, and other content to SharePoint and the AG website as required Support in creating, scheduling, and analysing engaging social media content across our various platforms

This role is based in our Taunton office and will involve travel to venues, as well as our other South West based offices as required. Occasional weekend work may be required, with the option to take equivalent time off in lieu.

Great communication and interpersonal abilities Enthusiasm and resilience High attention to detail, a curious mindset and the ability to work to deadlines Problem solving skills Project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects while delivering high quality outcomes A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role
