Job Description

We are looking for a creative, well organised professional to join our Marketing Department in a varied role that will including working for print and digital media. The roles would include creating magazine adverts, general in-house design, social media posts and assisting with web development, photography and videography plus editing. Strong design skills and experience using design software is essential.

The Position:

Your roles could include some or all the following depending on your skill set:

Designing artwork for use on event flyers, programmes and websites.

Fulfilling general in-house design requirements including sponsorship proposals.

Assembling and designing newsletters.

Creating source content for use across marketing using photography and videography.

Create and publish content on social media across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

Merchandise design including clothing.

Assisting in designing updating the content of websites.

Respond to comments and inquiries across social media channels in a professional and courteous manner.

Skills & Experience:

Good design skills are essential, and any wider experience would be beneficial:

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is essential to create adverts for print and digital content for websites and social media. (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Lightroom, Acrobat)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.

Good photography and videography skills and experience using DSLRs and editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier) is desirable.

Experience with using Facebook Business Manager, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, Google Ads for running and analysing advertising campaigns is beneficial.

Good writing, grammar, and people skills.

Experience with web development including, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, SEO, and WordPress would be advantageous.

A driving licence is essential as the position is in a rural location and the role will involve working some weekends and late nights.

This is an active role that require a good level of physical fitness.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a Artworker / Designer who can hit the ground running and uses initiative when performing day to day tasks. You will have responsibility for your designated roles, so we are looking for someone who manages their time well.

Salary: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
