About the Role

This role will support a wide range of marketing activities across digital, print and online platforms. Responsibilities include maintaining the marketing material library, creating and scheduling social media content, and engaging with audiences across multiple channels. The role will also support the launch and ongoing management of a YouTube channel, including content creation, as well as producing monthly newsletters, case studies for the website, and assisting with website updates. In addition, the position will help create print materials, support the shipping team with marketing-related tasks, and contribute to ad hoc marketing projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and organise the company's marketing material library, ensuring all assets are up to date and easily accessible Assist in the creation of engaging social media content aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives Schedule social media posts across multiple platforms using appropriate scheduling tools Actively engage with audiences by monitoring comments, messages and interactions across social media channels Support the launch of a new YouTube channel, including planning, setup and ongoing development Create and manage video and written content for the YouTube channel, from concept through to publication Produce and distribute monthly marketing newsletters, including content creation, layout and scheduling Assist with the design and creation of print marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and promotional items Support a variety of ad hoc marketing tasks and campaigns as required by the wider marketing team Work closely with the shipping team to support any marketing-related requirements, including branded materials and communications Create case studies for the company website, highlighting projects, services and customer success stories Update and maintain website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging and aligned with brand messaging

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Achieved grade 4/C and above in English and maths GCSE A full driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential A genuine interest in social media and digital content creation A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved Creative flair with fresh ideas to bring energy and personality to social media content Some experience creating video content is desirable (professional or personal projects welcome) A high level of initiative, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

The Apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

Campaign management;

Content creation;

Social Media marketing;

Digital and traditional communications;

Brand management;

Communication skills;

Project Management;

And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you're finished on the apprenticeship you'll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
