Overview
As Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting all marketing activities at TSL. Your day-to-day work will include managing TSL's social media platforms, from creating content to scheduling posts. You'll also help keep the company website up to date, assist with email campaigns and newsletters, write articles, and support general marketing administration.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build their marketing skills while using their existing creative abilities. The right candidate will be proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable producing content that aligns with TSL's brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and create content for social media
, including creating both video and photographic content, editing media to ensure high-quality, on-brand visuals as well as creating captions that inspire and engage interest.
Create newsletters, email campaigns and case studies
, tailored for different audiences and sectors
Update the website and internal communications
, including product pages, team profiles, job postings, training courses etc on the website and on internal media screens
Write news articles and project updates
for the website and industry publications
Monitor and report on marketing activity
, including social media performance, email campaigns, and basic analytics
Support the wider marketing team
with branded documents, marketing materials, and general administration
Key Skills & Experience:
Some experience in marketing, communications or content creation
Confidence using social media professionally and creating content across platforms
Strong photography and video skills, with experience using editing software
Good written communication and caption-writing skills
Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload
Attention to detail and a focus on quality
Interest in live events, production, or the wider creative industries
Familiarity with design tools like Canva or editing suites is a plus
Experience with CMS platforms, email marketing software, or basic analytics is desirable but not essential
Representing the Company:
This role is truly a "public face" of the company. It is vital that you deal courteously with customers, visitors, callers and the public at all times and represent the company and its reputation in an impeccable manner
A generally cheerful demeanour, engaging personality and sense of humour would be a huge advantage in making a success of this role.
