RAM Building Consultancy, a leading specialist with a rich 50-year history. We are dedicated to excellence in all aspects of our work and are seeking an ambitious Marketing Assistant to support our marketing strategy.

Working across both RAM Building Consultancy and The M&J Group, we are currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join the team. Based in our Bedford head office, this role will involve a wide range of responsibilities, focusing on areas such as social media coordination, event planning and support, website maintenance and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

Co-ordinate and create compelling content across various social media channels Produce video content for social media (CapCut, Premiere Pro) Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant conversations. Support the planning and execution of company events and industry exhibitions, including booking venues and ordering materials. Support with day-to-day website maintenance (WordPress, Joomla) Produce and distribute marketing materials (including site signage, brochures, branded merchandise etc.) Fulfil internal requests for marketing literature and collaterals such as presentations/reports. Handle administrative tasks related to marketing activities, including maintaining records and artwork, creating data sheets, managing the product library and marketing stock room.

Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Excellent written, proof-reading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various marketing channels. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint & Excel. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Proficiency in using design tools such as the Adobe suite and Canva. Effective communication skills with an adaptable communication style Time management and organisational skills Creative and innovative thinking Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in marketing roles, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Experience in Design would be advantageous. Experience in Google analytics would be desirable. Degree or qualification in marketing would be desirable.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm Office Based
