This is a full time role and will be based within one of our Derbyshire/ Staffordshire settings.
Key responsibilities
The Marketing Assistant will work under the direct report of the Marketing Manager. This is a creative marketing role, which will also involve an element of administrative work, as required.
Create high-quality internal digital materials such as forms, signage, etc using Adobe software
Contribute to market research and competitor analysis, maintaining spreadsheets in Excel
Maintain and update nursery website content, keeping information accurate, engaging, and SEO-optimised, through Wordpress.
Maintain marketing analytics & reporting, monitoring website traffic, campaign performance, and social metrics
Support in writing content for parents/staff that can be repurposed across channels
Support the acquisition and integration of new nursery settings.
Plan, support, and attend nursery launch events, open days, and local community activities. Off-site travel will be required.
Assist with email campaigns, maintaining accurate distribution lists and ensuring compliance with GDPR.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Level 3 qualification (A-levels or equivalent) minimum.
Experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, or digital content creation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
Creative, proactive, and solutions-focused.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Personal Attributes
Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
Willing to travel between sites and attend occasional evening/weekend events.
Genuine interest in early years education and community engagement.
Desirable
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Experience using email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
