Marketing Assistant

Cirencester, Gloucestershire | Full-time | Starting October 2025

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our growing Marketing Team. In this role, you will gain exposure to a range of marketing activities and support the team in the overall success of marketing strategies. You will have strong communication skills, copywriting skills and a passion for marketing.

What You'll Be Doing:

Content and Social Media

You will work with the team to create and execute the social media strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter. Assist with the production and release of video and podcast content along with building and publishing website content (WordPress training to be provided if required). You will also support the build and execution of email campaigns and automation to optimise our customer engagement.

Supporting Marketing Campaigns

You will assist and support the preparation and analysis of marketing campaigns across different channels, creating data segmentation and reviewing campaign performance.

Events

You will support the marketing and vendor teams in the delivery and execution of events including webinars, roundtables and broader industry events.

Customer Data

You will help keep our customer data up to date and accurate, collaborating with different teams to ensure we have high quality customer records.

Analysis & Reporting

You will organise segmentation lists to support marketing activity and assist with monthly reporting, contributing to how we can optimise and enhance our marketing activity.

Working with Others

You will collaborate with different teams across the business, including suppliers and partners, supporting the co-ordination of activities and building relationships.

What We're Looking For:

Experience with social media channels including LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter Experience with a CMS, Wordpress is preferred but not essential Strong copywriting skills with a flair for creativity Experience of supporting events Experience of assisting with campaigns including email automation - Salesforce preferred but not essential Attention to detail - you will notice the small things and raise to put it right Good organisational skills - you can handle multiple tasks and stay on top of priorities Great communicator and collaborator - ability to build rapport across different teams Willingness to learn - curious about marketing and understanding how the function operates with a positive attitude Training on all systems to be provided if necessary
