We're on the lookout for a creative and driven Marketing Assistant to join our growing team at Cadet Direct. It's an exciting time for us, and we want someone who's ready to get stuck in, bring fresh ideas and help shape the way our customers discover our kit.

The ideal candidate will be organised, confident communicating with others and genuinely interested in social media, content, email marketing and e-commerce. This role offers hands-on experience across content creation, campaign planning, data analysis and project coordination, all within a fast-paced environment.

You'll support Cadet Direct and our wider group of websites, giving you great exposure to different brands, audiences and marketing approaches, with plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and get involved in meaningful work.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns across various platforms to improve the customer experience. Plan and create written, video and static content using a range of tools. Produce engaging copy, write blogs and update website content as needed. Maintain and update our websites on Magento 2 and WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, relevant and well optimised. Work with internal teams to support projects and keep them on track to meet deadlines. Manage social media channels by scheduling posts, engaging with followers and monitoring engagement metrics. Take part in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to support the wider marketing strategy. Collaborate closely with the Business Directors, Marketing Manager and our in-house Graphic Designer.

Requirements

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A willingness to learn new platforms, techniques and tools, with a genuine drive to develop your skills. Basic or developing knowledge of SEO, email marketing and CMS platforms. A keen interest in creating content, especially for social media. Excellent copywriting skills with a strong eye for detail. Desirable but not essential knowledge in the Cadet Forces.
