We're recruiting for a
Marketing Assistant
to support both the UK and European Foodservice sales teams. This varied role includes general administration duties to creating digital and online marketing content and conducting market insight research.
What you'll be doing:
Support the Foodservice Marketing Manager in creation of marketing materials
General marketing support to UK and European Foodservice Sales Teams including the ordering of branded and sales support materials
Trade shows support for UK and European trade shows (form filling, stand organisation, samples/food organisation for stand with Development Chefs)
Management of Social Media calendar/company pages and posting
Assist in organising/supporting marketing events and initiatives (filming, photo shoots, customer events)
Liaise with design agencies, produce creative briefs/proof-read marketing materials (brochures, guides, newsletters, etc.)
Assist Sales Team with customer product briefs and presentations including providing insights, benchmarking of competitor menus, creating compelling customer PowerPoint presentations
Stay informed of latest cuisine, market and consumer insight and makes recommendations for future products/activity
Ensure accurate record keeping of marketing activity and marketing budget spend
General administration duties as required from time to time by the business
What we are looking for:
Marketing degree and/or 2 years' experience in similar role within food industry
Passion for food, aware of latest food trends, knowledge of different food cuisines and foodservice industry
Social media experience and preferably familiar with managing content on LinkedIn and Instagram
Digital marketing expertise and knowledge including social media skills
Highly organised preferably with project management experience
IT literate with strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
Presentation skills and confident in speaking in front of a room of people
Excellent written and verbal skills including copywriting with attention to detail/proof reading
Financially numerate, good commercial awareness, can interpret data and collate business reports
Creative nature and can think outside the box
Resilient, works off own initiative and highly motivated
Strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to speak a European language (French, German or Spanish) is beneficial, but not essential
