Employment: Full time (42.5 hours per week), Office based, 28 days holiday p.a. (incl. statutory bank holidays)

About the Role



We're looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to join our busy marketing team. Working across a variety of auction departments, including vehicles, plant & machinery, classic cars, wine, and personalised number plates, you'll support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of our marketing activity.

This is an ideal role for a digitally skilled individual who loves organisation, creativity, and fast-paced teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Marketing & Campaign Support



Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns for weekly, monthly, and specialist auctions. Help prepare campaign materials including copy, imagery, email content, and promotional assets. Monitor campaign performance and compile reports using key marketing metrics.

Content Creation & Social Media



Draft engaging content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. Schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms. Support community engagement by responding to comments and customer enquiries. Update and maintain the company website with fresh content.

Market & Competitor Research



Conduct competitor analysis and market research to support marketing strategy. Collect customer insights and prepare summaries for the team.

Administrative Support



Coordinate marketing procedures, campaigns, and promotional activities. Maintain marketing databases, tracking sheets, and shared folders. Assist with budget tracking, invoices, and supplier liaison.
Brand & Asset Management

Ensure all marketing materials adhere to Brightwells' brand guidelines. Organise and maintain a structured library of images, videos, and documents used across

Skills & Qualifications



Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisation and time management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Familiarity with key social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). Basic understanding of marketing principles and strong digital skills. Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Experience (though not critical)



1-2 years' experience in a marketing or administrative role (internships included). Exposure to CRM or email marketing tools is a plus, though training will be given.
