About the role


We're excited to be recruiting a part?time Marketing Assistant to join our team for 9 hours per week. There will be opportunities for extra hours when needed and the role is expected to grow as the business develops. This is a permanent position and we can offer an immediate start.

The role is based within a wonderful, friendly and supportive coworking space in Rochester, Kent.

About you


You'll bring confidence, strong marketing and administrative skills together with a keen eye for detail. We value individuals who are well?organised, self?driven and committed to producing high?quality work. This is a varied role, so we're looking for someone proactive who enjoys a variety of different projects.

Role and responsibilities



Assist in planning and executing marketing and social media campaigns. Create, proofread and edit marketing materials such as newsletters, social media posts, presentations and promotional content. Support event planning and coordination, including logistics and promotional materials. Coordinate suppliers to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets. Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Experience and skills



Strong written and verbal communication skills. User knowledge of marketing platforms, ie. Mailchimp. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. A proactive, collaborative and problem-solving approach with a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role is beneficial. Ability to work both on your own and within a team.

Skills & Experience



Confident using digital tools such as social media platforms, marketing software, basic design tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Canva) and scheduling software. IT literate, including Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Hours of work


9 hours spread across 3 days a week, days to be agreed with successful applicant. It is anticipated that the hours will increase over time as the business grows.
