Digital Marketing Assistant

to support the Managing Directors, Marketing Manager, and Lead in the day-to-day operation and growth of The Online Beauty Courses.

This role plays a key part in delivering digital campaigns, maintaining online platforms, supporting customer service, and ensuring business operations align with company procedures and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Health & Safety



Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations. Support Health & Safety compliance within office and personal workspaces for staff and visitors. Identify and report hazards or risks in accordance with company procedures.

Customer Service



Deliver the highest standard of customer service at all times. Handle enquiries and bookings via telephone, email, website chat systems (including Jivo), and social media. Resolve customer service issues efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Digital Marketing & Campaigns



Build and design HTML email campaigns from supplied designs. Plan, schedule, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns using approved platforms. Ensure email and social media content is planned at least 30 days in advance. Test emails, landing pages, and website updates prior to publication and implement amendments with the Marketing Manager and development team. Review Google Analytics and other performance data regularly. Analyse campaign performance, web sales, and KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement. Support the planning and execution of SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, display advertising, and web campaigns under guidance. Identify emerging digital and beauty trends and support rapid implementation to maintain competitiveness.

Website & Content Management



Use content management systems to create, update, and publish web pages. Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly website audits and highlight urgent issues. Provide feedback on improving user experience and website performance. Ensure Google Business Profile information is accurate and up to date. Maintain free listings, directories, and online profiles.

Social Media & Brand Presence



Create, schedule, and manage day-to-day social media content. Monitor and maintain engagement, including comments and direct messages. Assist with creating and maintaining social media accounts across all company brands. Update offers and imagery across social platforms alongside the Marketing Manager and Lead. Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions and document meeting notes. Build and maintain relationships with influencers and report on partnership performance.

Events, Promotions & Partnerships



Assist with planning, coordinating, and attending events, fairs, trade shows, and exhibitions (UK and international). Support exhibition stand design and promotional activities. Organise photoshoots including prop sourcing, scheduling, and on-site support to ensure timing and aesthetics are met. Work with suppliers and partners to support sales and promotional opportunities.

Research & Business Development



Carry out regular competitor analysis and market research. Research trending beauty and education topics and prepare briefs for potential course launches. Identify additional platforms and opportunities for generating revenue through course sales. Develop an understanding of the global online education and beauty markets. Continually seek opportunities to increase customer lifetime value through upselling, retention, and re-engagement strategies.

Administration & Compliance



Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and data protection legislation. Handle customer data securely and confidentially at all times. Communicate professionally with customers, students, tutors, and models for marketing and operational purposes. Take minutes and notes during meetings when required. Adhere to safeguarding, whistleblowing, and professional conduct policies. Support the wider team with projects as required, including duties outside of the digital scope.

Pay: From 23,809.50 per year
