Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be eager to learn and grow within our company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various marketing initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Support:
Help organize and promote virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, workshops, and trade shows.
Administrative Tasks:
Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including maintaining marketing calendars, organizing files, and coordinating with other departments.
Social Media Support:
Help manage our social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and identifying opportunities for growth and increased engagement.
Content Creation:
Assist in creating engaging content for our website, blog, social media channels, and email campaigns. This includes writing, editing, and proofreading articles, posts, and product descriptions.
Email Marketing:
Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting newsletters, segmenting lists, and analyzing performance metrics.
Market Research:
Assist in market research activities to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for various marketing initiatives, helping to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
About you:
You have a qualification in marketing
You have proven experience in a marketing role, preferably with events experience
You have strong written and verbal communication skills
You are proactive and have strong attention to detail
You have proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
You have familiarity with email marketing tools and content management systems
You have the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
An interest in natural health and wellness products is desirable
