10am-3pm, 2 days per week

Volunteering: 12 weeks

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an organisation we have a very strong vision and we are looking for someone who wants to be a part of this vision and join us. We are looking for a humble individual who can use their own initiative and can work well under pressure. You must hold a degree in the area you are applying for, and will need to email an electronic reference on headed paper of your current or previous employer. Experience within the area you are applying for is required.

This role will involve handling high volumes of pressure working in a fast paced industry in fashion. You should be highly skilled within administration dealing with enrolling candidates, decision making, planning, events organizing and experience with databases. You must be passionate about fashion and wanting to join our charity to help build a brighter future for society. You should have an interest in fashion and want to help develop our organisation and above all we are looking for someone to join us on a long-term basis. Currently we are not taking on candidates who are on a gap year or still

studying.

This will be a very rewarding experience for the right candidate, as you will be giving back to society. We will provide you with a certificate of attendance, once the seven week period has ceased. We look forward in working with the right person.

We are looking to take on board someone who is not only a team player but also a problem solver and can work extremely quickly, but maintain a high quality of work at the same time. Attention to detail is imperative in this role. As an individual, you should be capable of handling complaints from students, parents or even the general public. We pride ourselves on customer service and professionalism is something we take very seriously.

Information about Caramel Rock

Caramel Rock is a small charity base in Newham, which runs high-end fashion courses, providing work experience and weekly fashion classes. We are passionate about helping the community and that is why we work with people from all walks of life. As we are a charity we work with disadvantaged and vulnerable youths. We offer traineeships to 16-18 year olds, BTECs in Fashion and Design. For 19+ we offer BTEC Level 2 and 3 in Fashion and design. We also offer paid sewing courses for those who are interested in fashion, but do not meet the requirements to do the BTEC.
