Certax Accounting EK is a fast-growing accounting and tax advisory firm with offices in Margate and Canterbury. We provide accountancy, taxation, and advisory services to a wide range of clients including individuals, landlords, contractors, and owner-managed businesses.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Associate to join our Margate office on a full-time, office-based basis.

This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of marketing experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional services environment.

The Role

The Marketing Associate will support the firm's marketing and brand development activities, working closely with partners and management to improve visibility, client engagement, and lead generation.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing and updating website content Creating and scheduling social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) Preparing marketing materials such as brochures, graphics, and announcements Assisting with local marketing campaigns and promotions Supporting recruitment marketing and job advertisements Monitoring basic marketing performance metrics Maintaining brand consistency across all platforms
This is a hands-on role, suited to someone practical, organised, and comfortable working within a regulated professional environment.

Requirements

Essential:

Minimum 1 year of marketing experience Strong written English and attention to detail Good organisational and time-management skills Confidence working independently Competent with Microsoft Office Search engine optimisation
Desirable :

Experience with Canva or similar design tools Social media management experience Basic understanding of websites or CMS systems Previous experience in professional services (accounting, legal, finance)
