Part-time, 2 days per week (14 hours total, 08.30-16.00 which includes a hour lunch break). Days can be agreed with the successful candidate.

We are The Curious Gem, a leading online retailer specialising in high-quality jewellery-making supplies, based near Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh.
We're looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Content Creator. This is a part-time role ideal for someone who is forward-thinking, trend-aware, and enthusiastic about jewellery design.
We're seeking someone who is motivated, proactive, and a strong communicator -- someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of content scheduling, copywriting, reporting, and research.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Scheduling & Performance Analysis
Schedule daily and weekly content across our digital platforms.
Monitor results and report insights to the Marketing Manager.
Copywriting & Written Content Creation
Produce written content such as blog posts, email snippets, and social media captions.
Proofread content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
Market Research & Trend Awareness
Conduct research into current market trends, competitor activity, and customer interests.
Identify emerging digital and social trends that can inform our marketing strategy.
Reporting & Data Collection
Gather, organise, and analyse data using Excel or similar tools.
Community Engagement
Immerse yourself in The Curious Gem community and engage with our online community across social media platforms.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent copywriting ability and a strong command of written English.
High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
Social media reporting and analysis experience, comfortable working with data.
Ability to spot trends and think ahead.
Experience using content scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Meta Business Suite, Klaviyo).
Confident working independently and as part of a team.
Friendly, proactive, and community-focused attitude.
