Role Purpose
The Marketing & Bookings Manager will be responsible for driving customer engagement, increasing brand awareness, and maximising bookings for our coaching programmes, camps, and childcare services. This role combines strategic marketing planning with hands-on bookings management to ensure smooth operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Development
Develop and deliver marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community channels to promote programmes and services.
Manage social media accounts, creating engaging and relevant content to drive brand engagement.
Oversee website updates, ensuring programmes, schedules, and booking links are accurate and appealing.
Design and distribute marketing materials (flyers, newsletters, posters) for schools, community partners, and events.
Track and analyse marketing performance to inform strategy and improve ROI.
Bookings & Customer Service
Manage all incoming booking enquiries via email, phone, and online systems.
Oversee the online booking platform, ensuring sessions are listed accurately and capacity is monitored.
Provide excellent customer service to parents, schools, and partners, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and attendance.
Liaise with the operations team to ensure staff and facilities are scheduled according to bookings.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with schools, local sports clubs, and community organisations to increase programme reach.
Attend events, open days, and fairs to promote services and engage with families.
Collaborate with the coaching team to collect success stories, testimonials, and media for promotional use.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in marketing, bookings management, or a similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using social media, email marketing platforms, and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Customer-focused with a friendly, professional manner.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience in the sports, education, or childcare sectors.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
Familiarity with CRM or booking systems.
Basic photography/videography skills.
