We're looking for a creative and strategic Marketing & Brand Specialist to lead Inspire FM's marketing and communications. This role will shape and deliver impactful campaigns that strengthen Inspire FM's brand, deepen community engagement, and ensure a consistent, compelling voice across radio, digital, and event platforms.
You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on delivery -- developing creative campaigns that connect with our audience and amplify Inspire FM's mission to inform, educate, and inspire.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaigns
Develop and deliver an annual marketing and communications strategy aligned with Inspire FM's vision and goals.
Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, print, PR, and on-air channels.
Use audience insights and analytics to guide campaign planning and evaluate performance.
Brand & Creative Direction
Maintain and evolve Inspire FM's brand identity across all touchpoints.
Ensure consistency in tone, design, and messaging across materials and platforms.
Oversee production of marketing assets, including publications, email templates, and multimedia content.
Communications & PR
Lead Inspire FM's marketing and omni-channel communications strategy, including PR, newsletters, and press releases, to effectively communicate key messages and successes.
Build and nurture relationships with media outlets and manage proactive and reactive media engagement.
Develop compelling case studies and success stories that showcase community impact.
Digital & Social Media
Oversee Inspire FM's digital presence across website, app, and social media platforms.
Manage email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and performance reporting.
Work with the digital team to align traditional and digital marketing efforts.
Monitor analytics and KPIs, providing insights and reports to inform future strategy.
Team Collaboration & Events
Collaborate closely with the marketing and production teams, supporting project delivery and creative development.
Work cross-functionally to ensure marketing activities align with organisational goals.
Support flagship events -- such as Inspire Eid and The Big Iftar -- with promotional strategy and execution.
Internal Communications & Culture
Contribute to effective internal communication and staff engagement.
Champion Inspire FM's brand values and foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Person Specification
Essential
Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.
Proven success in developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns.
Strong copywriting, editing, and visual communication skills.
Experience collaborating across departments and managing creative projects.
Proficient in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva/Adobe CC, and Mailchimp.
Desirable
Degree or CIM qualification in Marketing or Digital Media.
Experience in community media, broadcasting, or the charity sector.
Understanding of Islamic community values and networks.
Awareness of accessibility and inclusive communication standards.
