Role overview

We're on the lookout for a digital marketer who knows their way around a campaign or two. Someone who's been in the game for a few years, feels confident taking charge, and gets a buzz out of seeing results roll in.

You'll be leading campaigns that speak to students all over the UK - mixing smart ideas with data-driven decisions to nudge behaviours and boost engagement. If you love blending creativity with a bit of analysis (and don't mind a spreadsheet or two), you'll fit right in.

Key tasks

You'll be taking marketing ideas and bringing them to life. This hands-on role will see you set up campaigns, track their impact, and report back to the wider team.

Every job description says this, but we really mean it here - you'll need an incredible eye for detail. A big part of this job is making sure the right message go to the right people.

Your role will include:

Take charge of our email and push notification schedules - who we're talking to, when, and why. Plan and run digital campaigns across push, email, social, and paid channels. Keep a close eye on performance, spotting what's working and what's not, then tweaking things to make them better. Run A/B tests to fine-tune messages and drive action. Work hand-in-hand with our creative, editorial, and content teams to make sure everything's on-brand and delivered on time. Occasionally get out there with the team at student events - you'll help us bring the brand to life face-to-face.

Knowledge and Skills

You know your way around digital channels - from email and push notifications to social and display. You're comfortable using data and analytics tools to guide your decisions. You understand the basics of compliance - things like data protection, diversity, and editorial standards. You've got a sharp eye for detail (because typos happen, but not on your watch). You're handy with Excel and can turn campaign results into clear, useful reports. You've used tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Meta Ads Manager. You're curious about behavioural marketing - testing, learning, and seeing what makes people tick. You've got a good sense of what works with Gen Z and student audiences.

Experience

You've used tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Meta Ads Manager. You're curious about behavioural marketing - testing, learning, and seeing what makes people tick. You've got a good sense of what works with Gen Z and student audiences. You've worked on campaigns aimed at students or younger audiences before. You've helped run CRM or app-based campaigns. You've worked with agencies or external partners to get campaigns out the door.

Personal qualities

You're a natural communicator who works well with others. You're creative but grounded - happy brainstorming ideas one minute and analysing numbers the next. You take ownership, stay organised, and see things through. You're confident chatting to students and partners and representing the brand at events. You're curious, experimental, and love finding new ways to reach people. You keep an eye on what's trending - from campus life to TikTok.

Qualifications

We will need you to have a full UK diving licence as the role involves UK travel. A degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, or something similar. Marketing certificates like Google or Meta Ads Certifications are welcome, but not essential
