Executive Assistant Responsibilities - 50% your time
Be the Director's go-to support: managing diaries, correspondence, and priorities with a calm and professional approach.
Help keep projects on track--organising meetings, travel requirements, preparing meeting minuets, and making sure actions are followed up.
Provide support with administration as needed.
Marketing & Communications Responsibilities - 50% of your time
Bring the stories of the Arboretum/Thorp Perrow to life through engaging social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and beyond.
Keep our website fresh and up to date with events, visitor information, and news.
Create inspiring newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials that capture the essence of the Arboretum.
Work with local media, tourism partners, and schools/ community groups to raise our profile.
Support with events
Track and report on the impact of campaigns, always looking for new ways to reach and delight audiences.
Develop and deliver marketing plans for seasonal events, concerts, family activities, and more.
Candidate:
Experience in administration, executive support, or marketing (ideally both).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident with social media and digital marketing tools (experience with Canva, Mailchimp, or similar would be a bonus).
Highly organised, with great attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Warm, approachable, and able to build relationships with ease.
A genuine enthusiasm for heritage, nature, or tourism would make you feel right at home here.
What We Offer:
A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Staff discounts in our tearoom and gift shop.
