Marketing Communications Executive

Luminary ROLI is looking for an ambitious Marketing Communications Executive to provide administrative support to our Marketing team to help drive our commercial activities. As the Marketing and Communications Assistant you will be reporting to our Head of Communications.

Our ideal candidate is process-driven with a keen eye for detail. You must have strong writing, editing, and research skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple projects is a must. You should have a solid understanding of communications practices and digital marketing strategies. You will work in close collaboration with the whole marketing team, and you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to contribute to the broader product and marketing team objectives. There will be meaningful scope to take the initiative and ownership of activities, and the right candidate will be able to thrive working autonomously.

This will be a fast-paced role where you will have the opportunity to build knowledge and experience within a growing music technology company.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Assist the Marketing team with the development and execution of Luminary\xe2\x80\x99s marketing strategies.
  • Build, schedule and write copy for email communications to audiences across both ROLI and LUMI channels \xe2\x80\x94 including CRM and automations.
  • Own our mailing lists and ensure they are growing, maintained and cleaned.
  • Update and maintain the marketing calendar and task management system, ensuring marketing projects are kept on track.
  • Write creative briefs for our in-house design team.
  • Source content, write copy and create engaging and informative blog articles across both ROLI and LUMI channels.
  • Support on PR initiatives, including identifying target publications and following up with journalists.
  • Event management and logistics.
  • Provide copywriting support across all marketing channels, including social, advertising, video & web.
  • Ensure our websites have up-to-date information.
  • Provide ad-hoc support on social media community management.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
  • Excellent written, proofreading, and editing skills
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Communications or a similar role
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing channels and best practices
  • Basic understanding of CMS; preferably Contentful
  • Experience with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, MailChimp, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, flawless written English
  • An inquisitive mind and demonstrable examples of implementing proactive solutions
  • Superb and demonstrable time-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • A passion for music, technology and/or startups
Bonus points:
  • Knowledge of the music industry
  • Photo and video editing skills
  • Basic graphic design skills
