Purpose of the Role
To plan, create, and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging marketing communications that strengthen the MIDFIX brand, generate qualified leads, and support the company in achieving 3 million of new business in 2026.
This role sits at the centre of the marketing function -- responsible for how MIDFIX communicates across all channels, ensuring that everything we produce is well-written, credible, and easy to understand.
Core Competency
A skilled copywriter and content creator, able to produce clear and engaging written materials that inform, inspire, and convert.
You'll have a strong command of language, curiosity to understand your audience, and the ability to take technical information and turn it into content that connects.
Key Responsibilities
Messaging & Content Creation
Develop and maintain brand and campaign messaging across multiple channels.
Write and edit high-quality content including articles, case studies, emails, social posts, and sales materials.
Turn technical information into clear, accessible content that explains ideas simply and effectively.
Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all marketing outputs.
Campaign Planning & Delivery
Plan and deliver marketing campaigns that build engagement and generate qualified leads.
Work closely with colleagues in Media and Digital to create multi-channel campaigns.
Contribute to account-based marketing (ABM) activity in coordination with Sales.
Testing & Improvement
Test different messages and content types to see what resonates best with the audience.
Analyse campaign data (Cost per Lead, Lead Quality, Sales Feedback, Pipeline Influence) and recommend improvements.
Feed insights back into future messaging and campaign planning.
Collaboration & Brand Consistency
Work closely with the Media Lead to align written and visual storytelling.
Support the ongoing development of the MIDFIX tone of voice and messaging framework.
Ensure communications remain consistent and professional across all platforms and materials.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience in marketing communications, copywriting, or content creation.
Ability to absorb and understand technical subject matter and communicate it clearly.
Experience working in or with construction or technical industries is a bonus but not essential.
Strong writing and editing skills with great attention to detail.
Comfortable analysing results and using data to improve future work.
Knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM/automation platforms is advantageous.
Organised, self-motivated, and confident working collaboratively across teams.
Success Measures (First Half of 2026)
Established campaign rhythm and content plan in place.
Message and channel testing delivered with measurable outcomes.
Clear improvements in lead quality and message consistency.
Positive alignment and feedback from the Sales team.
