is helping Financial Planners across the UK grow their own businesses using this same approach.

But we're not your typical Financial Services firm. No jargon. No corporate waffle. Just clarity, personality, and content that connects with real people -- aye, propa stuff that actually makes sense.

That's why we're looking for a

Marketing Content Manager

who can lead our content strategy, mentor our Marketing Executive, and make sure every word we put out feels human, approachable, and a bit different from the rest of the industry.

What you'll do:

Own and deliver the content strategy across

B2C (Joslin Rhodes)

and

B2B (PlanHappy Partnership).

Write, edit, and adapt content for different audiences -- one day a technical retirement guide, the next a heartfelt email about our

JR Cares charity work in Teesside.

Manage content across all platforms:

web, email, social, blogs, brochures, ads, video and guides.

Hunt out and share stories from clients, colleagues, and community projects that make us proud to be from Teesside.

Play a senior role in

service launches, campaigns, and events.

Use SEO and digital know-how to make sure our content isn't just read, but acted on.

Understand the

commercial side of content

and how it drives enquiries, leads, and growth.

Balance creativity with compliance, ensuring all content meets FCA

Financial Promotions (COBS) rules

.

About You

Have 5+ years proven experience in content marketing and at least 2 years managing people or projects (either in-house or at a Marketing/PR agency).

A natural ability to write, edit, and simplify complex topics at pace.

Hands-on across all formats: long-form, short-form, digital, and print.

Commercially aware, you understand how content supports business growth, not just engagement.

Adaptable and just as happy writing a guide to pension rules as you are telling the story of a client's retirement dream.

SEO- and social-savvy, with a feel for what works online.

Comfortable leading and mentoring others.

Knowledge of financial services content and Financial Promotions rules (COBS) is a bonus.
