As Kraken's Marketing function continues to expand, we plan to appoint a full-time Marketing Co-ordinator in 2026. The role will strengthen operational efficiency, improve co-ordination across marketing activity, and enable specialist teams to focus on high-value work such as strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and brand storytelling.

The Marketing Co-ordinator will support activity across the full marketing spectrum, including PR and communications, government and defence engagement, shows and expos, roadshows, experiential activity, and creative production. The role will work closely with internal departments, external agencies, and key stakeholders.

About the role:

The Marketing Co-ordinator will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Kraken's marketing activity. Through strong organisation, structured systems, and proactive communication, the role will improve visibility, and keep multiple workstreams aligned.

As Kraken's external presence grows in scale and complexity, this role will be key in ensuring marketing programmes are well planned, well supported, and professionally delivered.

Marketing Operations



Manage schedules, timelines, and dependencies across marketing activity, including communications, creative production, events, and stakeholder engagement. Maintain unified marketing calendars covering campaigns, shows, expos,
and roadshows.

Partner and Supplier Coordination



Liaise with printers, merchandise suppliers, agencies, freelancers, and logistics partners.
Support various Kraken teams with supplier coordination for shows, expos, and external engagements.

Process and Workflow



Implement systems that improve workflow visibility, tracking, and delivery. Maintain documentation, approvals, and reporting processes.

Budget and Procurement



Assist with quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and expenditure tracking across marketing activity.

Team and Asset Support



Provide logistical and administrative support to the Brand Director and creative team. Manage digital asset libraries, backups, and version control. Help maintain an organised, functional studio and working environment

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:



CIM qualification (Level 4 or Level 6) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Marketing Communications, or equivalent. PR or communications certification (e.g. CIPR Foundation or Advanced Certificate),or equivalent. Project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM Foundation, or equivalent. Event or experiential marketing certification, or formal training in exhibition and event management. Strong organisational and communication skills, experience in marketing or creative environments. Confidence with digital tools. High attention to detail. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:



Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Events Management, or a related discipline. Experience supporting events, exhibitions, or experiential programmes. Familiarity with creative workflows. Interest in defence or maritime innovation.
