Job Description

As a Marketing Co-Ordinator at Barclays, you will co-ordinate marketing activity for several Research Analysts and teams in EMEA Equity Research. This team offer actionable insights and innovative products to our clients, partnering with them to ensure they can leverage our resources to make informed investment decisions. You will assist the team in achieving marketing goals and establish yourself as the go to person for your sectors with regard to navigating the available marketing data, tools and processes. This will include managing the client facing strategies, facilitating meetings between Analysts and institutional investors and overseeing the Management of relevant events or Roadshows. Additionally, you will utilise centralised target client lists to deliver a high-quality marketing service.

To be successful as a Marketing Co-Ordinator, you should have:



Previous Experience in a Financial Services environment Proven background in events and event management Confidence working with large data sets and engaging with a wide range or internal and external stakeholders Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Some other highly valued skills include:



Corporate Access or Roadshow related experience a strong advantage Equity Research Assistant experience highly desirable (Other backgrounds considered) Fluent in standard Excel formulas incl Pivot tables preferable Proactive & solution orientated with the ability to take complete ownership of tasks and processes

The position is based in our London office.


Purpose of the role




To support Research Analysts in the production and delivery of Research with differentiated market insights and actionable ideas to Barclays Clients.

Accountabilities



Compilation and analysis of data to help Analysts develop investment theses for their coverage areas. Presentation of Research views to Barclays Clients by helping to prepare materials or responses to client questions. Collaboration with the Analyst, Supervisory Analyst, Compliance and other stakeholders to help ensure Research is produced and delivered to Clients and internal stakeholders in a compliant manner.
