The Role



We're looking for a creative, organised and commercially minded Marketing Coordinator to deliver and manage day-to-day marketing activity across the business. You'll take ownership of digital campaigns, help increase footfall, grow our visitor numbers and improve customer retention across all of our revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities



Execute marketing campaigns across social media, website and any local media.

Create compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement and conversions

Track and report on KPIs (visitors, ROI, dwell time, campaign performance, etc.)

Work directly with the supervisor to support business objectives

Coordinate design, print, any signage requirements for seasonal activities

Maintain and update the website with current content, vlog posts, and new information

Manage social media scheduling, community engagement, and paid promotions

Maintain a marketing calendar that supports all areas of the business

Measurable increase in footfall and visitor engagement

Campaigns with a strong ROI and consistent performance monitoring

Great consistency in tone, visuals, and brand experience across channels

Skills & Experience



Knowledge



Essential



Basic understanding of SEO, digital advertising, and analytics

Desirable



Familiarity with Gloucestershire's local community and tourism sector

Experience



Essential



2+ years' experience in a marketing or communications role

Experience with social media platforms, Mailchimp (or similar), and Canva

Desirable



Prior work with 'influencers'

Experience in PR

Experience in visitor attractions, hospitality, events, or retail

Skills



Essential



Strong copywriting and visual communication skills

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Comfortable using web CMS tools (e.g., WordPress or similar)

Experience managing multiple marketing channels

Photography or video-editing skills

Desirable



Confidence with tools like Meta Ads Manager or Google Analytics

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
