Barry's is the Best Workout in the WorldTM. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it's the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role





You are an experienced marketing professional with plenty of initiative who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast paced, and progressive environment in the fitness industry.


This role is one that is varied and instrumental to the business. Working with a cross functional team, your primary goal is to support activities that generate awareness, introduce new clients and build community for the Barry's brand. As such, it will provide a brilliant opportunity for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and looking to take the next step in their career.


This role requires experience or relevant qualifications with project management, event coordination, copywriting and marketing communications.

What you'll do





Studio Growth

Understand the given territory and proactively find solutions that will provide local studio growth Provide ideas that bring new customers to assigned studios Work with assigned studio managers to execute the marketing strategy and provide necessary support Work with instructors to strategically build class times by engaging partners, planning themed classes, etc Work with strategic partners to increase brand awareness Track and monitor success of marketing tactics and events Generate and maintain relationships with strategic stakeholders, ensuring that Barry's is top of their mind

Marketing Operations

Brief and communicate with all necessary internal stakeholders for campaigns and activations Support on campaign management and logistics for key stakeholders Point of contact for clients requesting information about Marketing and Charity offerings Support with any specific marketing training for studio teams Manage marketing processes, making updates and creating solutions when necessary Suggest and implement any improvements to keep the marketing team working in an agile environment

Event Management

Identify potential 'on brand' events: collecting information, quotes and presenting to Marketing Manager Play a key role in event management and coordination. Creating, organising and implementing Barry's UK events in studio and approved out-of-studio locations Liaise with event organisers to plan and implement large scale events Create, organise and implement Barry's parties for clients, charities and community Providing post-production marketing support to clients. Obtaining and examining strategic marketing data and stats.

Qualifications



Minimum of 2 years' relevant marketing experience, ideally within a marketing, communications or PR agency, or the health and fitness industry Degree-level education in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential) Proven experience supporting marketing projects or campaigns Strong copywriting skills with attention to tone and brand voice Comfortable analysing and reporting on performance metrics Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment A true team player - collaborative across departments and channels, but also confident working independently Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable cold calling, visiting different locations, and liaising with internal teams and external partners A creative thinker with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for growing and evolving our brand Genuine interest in the fitness industry and a passion for engaging with health-conscious communities

Please note that some travel may occasionally be required, including to national sites.

Working Hours




You'll generally work a standard 9am to 6pm day but hours could sometimes include shift or weekend work. There may also be a requirement to work extra hours to meet deadlines.


This role is for all Barry's UK and Ireland studios.
