Job Overview:



As the Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to support a wide range of marketing initiatives from campaigns to digital strategies. You will play a crucial role in managing content across various platforms including our website, social media channels and more with the aim of attracting a broader audience.

Our marketing team at Skills Group focuses on elevating our brands visibility. We engage with potential apprentices and employers to establish Skills Group as the leading authority across the region. You will also oversee projects and events, ensuring our marketing efforts continue to heightened brand awareness and align with our short-term and long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties



1. Creating engaging content for all communication channels including:

Developing content for social media platforms Updating and creating new website content Crafting apprentice and employer case studies Producing marketing materials such as brochures and event collatera Managing Skills Group's digital presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, You Tube and other platforms
2. Monitoring and analysing platform performance to optimise content and drive website inquiries:

Collaborating with our marketing agency to develop a comprehensive campaign strategy, digital marketing plan and annual activity roadmap.
3. Developing a content schedule for all digital activities aligned with the annual marketing plan:

Coordinating photo shoots and managing a media library that highlights the Skills Group's offerings, facilities, case studies and short video content. Conducting research to analyse competitor trends, consumer behaviours and industry preferences
4. Tracking digital marketing trends and providing strategic recommendations:

Managing and updating learner facing plasma screens across all premises, including reception areas and canteens
5. Assisting in the planning and coordination of promotional events, ensuring all necessary resources are prepared and attending as needed.

Qualifications:



A minimum of A-levels or equivalent with a grade B or above in GCSE English. Additional qualifications in a related field are advantageous.

Prior experience of working in a Digital Marketing role, ideally for at least a year including working on website content and design, maintaining social media accounts

High standard of accuracy and literacy are required and the ability to write clear and concise copy for different audiences.

Highly organised with the ability to work to tight and competing deadlines.

Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with the staff at all levels, employer representatives and apprentices.

Proficient in computer applications especially Word, Outlook and Excel. Familiarity with specialised design software like Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Additionally capable in video creation and editing offering a valuable skillset in multimedia production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 29,550.00 per year
