Job Description

I am looking for a Marketing Data Researcher to join a thriving marketing agency based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham on a full-time basis, on-site 5 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing graduate looking to get their foot in the door, or someone with 6 months experience wanting to immerse themselves in an agency environment. They\'re looking for someone with a genuine drive and outgoing personality, with confident communication skills in order to gather vital information for client records and marketing campaigns. The role also has a clear pathway for progression down the line, for the right person. This is a permanent role, offering a salary of \xc2\xa319k-\xc2\xa323k.

The Client

Our client is an independent marketing agency based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. They are a passionate team of Marketers, Strategists, Designers, Web Developers and Researchers. They bring innovation and fresh ideas to offline and digital marketing activities for a wide range of business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. They offer a friendly and supporting working environment, and free on-site parking.

The Role

As the Marketing Data Researcher, you will play a very important role within the team, working closely with the Operations Manager. You will be accountable for utilising digital channels (such as social media) and the telephone to research and gather data about companies and key contacts within them to be input into the agency\'s database. Data is frequently changing, so you will also need to regularly update and manage it. Your work will contribute to marketing campaign planning and development, providing the team with up-to-date, valuable information.

About You

While marketing experience isn\'t essential, a good understanding of digital and offline marketing strategies and channels (especially social media) is required to be able to fully grasp the data you\'ll be handling, plus of course a strong attention to detail for data entry and validation. The ideal candidate will also have a confident communication skillset, happy and able to pick up the phone when required, as well as a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office package. A motivated and outgoing work ethic is key, as you will be a vital part of a small team working to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients. Bonus points if you have experience in an administrative capacity!
