VITEC have a fantastic opportunity to join our established Marketing team in our Scotland office as a Marketing Design Specialist. About the role




As a Marketing Design Specialist with VITEC, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and digital presence of the brand. This position bridges creative design with strategic marketing, supporting a wide range of initiatives from social media content creation to the development of marketing collateral and digital assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms, contribute to campaign execution, and maintain a high standard of visual communication. The role also involves managing digital content, enhancing user engagement through compelling visuals, and staying current with industry trends to drive innovation in design and marketing practices.



In addition to design responsibilities, you will manage the company's social media presence--creating, scheduling, and publishing content that aligns with marketing objectives and engages target audiences. You will monitor performance, respond to interactions, and contribute to the growth of our online community. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking to effectively support brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms.

What you'll do



Digital Design (75%):





Provide digital graphic design support to the marketing team, taking design briefs for a wide range of collateral, including but not limited to printed material, digital content for social media, and advertising.

Support senior graphic designers when needed and follow their design direction. Creation and amendments of ad creatives, based on creative briefs. Supporting the creation and editing of training presentations and webinar content. Work with Product Marketing for the development and maintenance of content in brochures and documents. Formatting case studies and whitepaper content. Develop and maintain a catalogue of technical diagrams. Maintenance of icon library and process to add iconography as needed. Support the development of graphics for the company website to ensure a fresh, modern and up to date look and feel. Support the maintenance of a creative library of suitable photographic and video content, representing a range of industries and associated services (ongoing via subscriptions to Adobe Stock and Shutterstock), and source alternative sources of optimal content. Manage the visual designs of advertising and marketing campaigns. Editing of short videos for social media and email campaigns.



Comms (25%)





Manage social media platforms, keep up to date on social technology (current and emerging), guidelines, brand safety, and new trends. Working with the marketing strategy, you'll implement and drive best in class creative, innovation in marketing & on brand storytelling across our social media our platform(s).



Technical experience with social media content and platforms, for the website and growing a social audience. Understand, research and share the trends that are changing/shaping the industry. Experience with WordPress, Google analytics, and the top social channels is a plus! Creation and scheduling social media posts across LinkedIn, and other social platforms. Supporting creative effort to build email marketing campaigns - events, partner comms, product launches, end user automated emails

You'll have:



Professional experience in a very similar role. A link to your portfolio of design work - included in your CV A good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques. Excellent multitasking abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. BA/BS focused on design or appropriate design certifications. Proficiency in the core Adobe creative tools for graphic design as well as common software applications. Adobe core tools PS, AI, IND and Ae. Experience in creating formatted graphic layouts and assets for email-web integration. Software knowledge for communication tasks such as creating emails, tracking adverts, and creating landing pages. HTML skills would be a plus! Specifically experience with Pardot or other CRM, for use on online tagged media content, such as digital ads, event landing pages and campaigns. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word).
