Full-time (5 days a week, Monday-Friday) - permanent - office based
Postscript Books Ltd: A well-established multichannel B2C bookseller based in Devon seeks an experienced and creative Marketing Designer to deliver all marketing and brand graphics, developing compelling campaigns that appeal to a wide audience of readers.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight monthly deadlines. This position is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our brand identity across multiple channels, and you will also play a key role in developing innovative campaign concepts for upcoming seasons.
Being hands on with the books as they arrive, you will recognise which books to earmark and use this primary awareness to inform your designs, implementing in-house photography to further enhance campaign creatives.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work closely with an enthusiastic team that values creative input and a willingness to contribute ideas. Demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude, you will be conversant in interpreting briefs to lead the design of a range of assets for our B2C marketing campaigns across web, email, and social platforms, as well as intermittent print projects such as flyers, bookmarks and event signage. Additionally, you will support the development of our website, designing high-fidelity prototypes and graphics to realise eCommerce merchandising goals and improve user experience.
This is an exciting role with the opportunity to foster a new design direction, devising and creating graphics across multiple media and applying your innate creativity, technical skill, and knowledge of the book industry to expand brand reach and fulfil an important position in the team.
