A leading, prestigious barristers' chambers is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing & Events Assistant to join its team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a career in marketing, particularly within the legal and professional services sector. The Marketing & Events Assistant will support the delivery of a wide and expanding range of marketing activities across Chambers.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Assisting with the organisation and delivery of events such as in-house training sessions for clients,conferences, seminars,and client receptions. Assisting with event logistics: sourcing venues, preparing slides, name badges, and conference materials and liaising with suppliers. Attending such events when necessary. Managing and maintaining the business development marketing schedule and event/media planner and its diary on LEX. Support with the Chambers UK directory submission process: managing responses, creating spreadsheets and submission documents;organising researcher interviews and gathering data and collating submissions. Supporting marketing communications and social media and website updates; updating the LEX client database to ensure an accurate mailing list. Maintaining and updating the Chambers stock of branded marketing materials, liaising with suppliers, ensuring competitive rates.


The Candidate:


Essential

Degree educated or equivalent marketing qualification. Highly organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload Literate with strong communication skills both written and in person. Proactive,enthusiastic and personable Familiar with a professional services environment with some business experience.


Desirable

Experience of running events. Experience in using social media, particularly LinkedIn Excel and Canva. An understanding and interest in the legal sector.

Some of the skills, experiences and competencies may be demonstrated through extra-curricular activities or voluntary work rather than formal employment.
