Position:

As a Marketing & Events Assistant, you will support the Marketing team in ensuring everything runs smoothly for day-to-day duties, one off events, and everything in between. With such a multi-talented team, the list of possible duties you could be involved in will never be exhaustive, but will include:
Taking responsibility for the practical elements of event planning locally, nationally, and internationally, such as tickets, travel, and accommodation
Extending professional communications to a variety of customers
Helping with regular maintenance on multiple websites
Running metrics across department to prove Return on Investment on campaigns
Completing administration tasks to support the workload of the wider team
Requirements:

Excellent communication skills are essential in this role to be able to liaise with teams internally and externally on a variety of matter, as is a keen eye for detail.
To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a team, wanting to play your part in ensuring the success of the department, but also be comfortable using your own initiative and organising your own time effectively.
Although not essential, a degree in Marketing, Events Management, Business Management, or similar would be advantageous.

This is a full time role based from our Sunderland office with a hybrid working pattern on completion of probation.
