Our Organisation
This role is advertised by ELLG Professional Services. Part of East Lancashire Learning Group, ELLG Professional Services provides expert business support services to the wider Group.
East Lancashire Learning Group is made up of three merged colleges: Nelson and Colne College, Accrington and Rossendale College and Lancashire Adult Learning. It is an innovative provider; a research hub for teaching and learning, with a clear ambition to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for learners.
The Exciting Role
We are looking for a bold, energetic and creative Marketing & Events Executive to join our dynamic team at East Lancashire Learning Group. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for marketing with your flair for events, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.
One day you'll be planning a high-profile open event that inspires hundreds of young people to shape their future, the next you'll be creating a digital campaign that reaches thousands across our community. From managing logistics and liaising with suppliers to producing engaging content and driving social media, you'll play a key role in showcasing this Outstanding College Group's excellence, innovation and impact.
We don't expect you to know everything yet - we'll support you in developing your skills - but what we can't teach is your spark: your enthusiasm, resilience and drive to make a difference. You'll need to be organised and adaptable, with the confidence to juggle competing priorities, think on your feet, and bring fresh ideas to the table. Most importantly, you'll be motivated by knowing that your work helps change lives through education.
In return, you'll join a supportive and ambitious team where your ideas are valued and your professional growth encouraged. You'll gain hands-on experience across marketing and events, build strong networks with colleagues and employers, and see the direct impact of your creativity every day. If you want a role where you'll never be bored, always be challenged, and have the freedom to make your mark - this is it.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Lancashire Adult Learning but will be required to travel across sites.
