Purpose of the Role




This hands-on role within the centre management team at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, will involve supporting the Marketing Manager across all elements of the marketing mix, including event management, website development, branding, content creation, ESG, tenant liaison and both internal and stakeholder communications. The Marketing team manage and ensure the brand values and integrity are maintained to the highest standard with success demonstrated in the achievement of targets which increase overall trading performance of the centre. This role also involves supporting the office team with day-to-day responsibilities, including reception cover, meeting room management and contractor support duties.


Key Responsibilities




Support the marketing manager in the implementation of the centre marketing plan including:


Day-to-day responsibility for on-site marketing-led events and promotions, ensuring centre departments and retailers are informed and Health and Safety requirements are met. Active participation in setting up of, hosting, and de-rigging events. Provide support with marketing queries and ad-hoc marketing projects. Alongside our agencies, provide marketing support to retailers via Midsummer's marketing channels, and to ensure they are kept up to date with all marketing opportunities and centre news. Create, compile, manage and upload relevant retailer and centre content onto the website, social media channels, customer emails, newsletter, digital screens and to the Savills insights app. Day to day retailer and stakeholder liaison. Deliver regular e-newsletter communications. Development of creative campaigns and print. Oversee standards and design / print of POS e.g., temporary signage and posters. Also ensure any printed collateral in centre is timely and relevant. Contribute to the drafting of weekly and monthly marketing reports and regular post campaign analysis. Ensure all activities are GDPR compliant, both in centre and across digital communications. Manage location photography and filming applications, ensuring all departments are informed and Health and Safety requirements are met. Budget management including timely and accurate invoicing / reconciliation. Develop and deliver campaigns aligned to our ESG objectives for the centre. Assist the office team by supporting cover of reception, set up / clearance of meeting room and supporting contractors in the hub
Additional Responsibilities:


Attend any training and development courses as necessary. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the Centre.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience



Minimum:


IT Literacy Strong English skills (written and spoken) Willingness to get stuck in Approachable nature and can-do attitude Ability to use own initiative. Good communicator Self-motivated Organised and detail focused Able to work to deadlines. Able to use and keep up with changes in social media.
Desirable:


Prior experience in event management Prior experience in a consumer / destination marketing role Understanding of GDPR IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification.
Working Hours - 37.5 per week. 9am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday (some weekend working will be expected for event management and lieu can be taken in the week either side)


Salary - Up to 30,000
