We are now seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to work closely with the CEO and help lead and manage our firm's events calendar and associated marketing activities.

Position Overview
The Marketing & Events Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and executing our events calendar, delivering both in-person and online events, and producing content and industry research that compliments this event activity.
You'll have ownership of a busy calendar of events and marketing initiatives, including event planning, speaker management, industry reports, and multi-channel campaigns. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on both creativity and execution, and who wants to work closely with leadership in a highly visible role.
Responsibilities
This is a varied role with wide ranging responsibilities, including:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver a strategic calendar of events including in-person roundtables, industry breakfasts, networking receptions, webinars, panel discussions, and virtual thought leadership sessions.
Lead all aspects of event logistics, guest management, venue and technology coordination and performance tracking.
Ensure events align with relevant sector trends and the commercial priorities of the business.
Source and secure high-quality speakers and panelists from the communications, marketing, and digital sectors.
Coordinate pre-event briefing sessions, content preparation and speaker promotional assets (bios, headshots, etc.).
Collaborate with speakers' post-event for content follow-up, amplification, and future engagement.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns in the run-up to events, including email marketing, social media content, and registration landing pages.
Drive strong attendance through targeted outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Deliver post-event communications such as thank-you notes, feedback surveys, highlights content, video snippets, and lead nurturing sequences.
Collaborate with consultants to repurpose event insights into evergreen content and sales assets.
Further collaboration with members of the sales team to produce event guest lists via use of sales CRM and coordination of sales business development activity, both pre and post event.
Conduct industry research across communications, marketing, and digital landscapes to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Produce data-led insight reports, whitepapers, market updates, and salary guides.
Develop engaging written content including blog posts, commentary, and analysis that reflect your findings and reinforce our expertise.
Use research to inform event themes, marketing campaigns, and business development tools.
Skills & Experience Required
2 - 3 years of experience in marketing and events.
Strong interest in, and understanding of the communications, marketing, and digital sectors.
Demonstrable experience planning and delivering both in-person and online events
Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate research and insights into engaging, professional content''
Proficient in relevant tools such as Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Canva and webinar platforms
Highly organised, with strong project management skills and attention to detail''
Confident working with senior stakeholders and external partners
