JOB SUMMARY



This role of Marketing Executive involves supporting the Marketing Manager in all areas.

Marketing helps bring the Fears brand to life across digital platforms, printed

materials, product launches, and in-person activations. From social media content

and website updates to managing press outreach and supporting retail and event

marketing, no two days will be the same as well as helping with the staffing of the

Fears Boutique at No. 4 Clifton Arcade.

Fears is a fast-paced and dynamic company where every day poses new challenges, the

Marketing Executive must be equally matched to this working environment which at times

can be demanding but also hugely rewarding.

Specific to this role:

Location: Bristol, Fears Head Office and No.4 Clifton Arcade. Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) Report: Marketing Manager Commencing: October 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



Event Management & Support



Assist in planning and delivering national and international events, including trade
shows, client evenings, and exhibitions.

Coordinate event communications, schedules, travel arrangements, and logistics. Help manage guest lists, registrations, and follow-up communications.

Social Media & Content



Contribute to the planning, creation, and scheduling of engaging social media
content in the distinctive Fears tone of voice.

Monitor performance and engagement, supporting analytics reviews and
optimisations, whilst growing our social media following.

Assist with photography, videography, and editing for social content. Confident using TikTok, with experience creating engaging and brand-appropriate
content for the platform.

Proven experience in influencer marketing.

Email Marketing & PR



Help draft and format newsletters using our email marketing platform. Support the creation and distribution of press releases and media communications. Maintain and update press lists and media assets. Serve as the primary point of contact for all press enquiries, effectively managing
communications as the brand's press office.

Marketing Operations



Prepare watches, press kits, and marketing materials for events and media requests. Help manage the organisation of our marketing archive, watch stock, and creative
assets.

Support boutique content creation and assist with day-to-day marketing activities.

Cross-Functional & Ad Hoc Support



Provide assistance across other departments--retail, logistics, customer service--
during peak times or launches.

Be an active member of the team, contributing ideas and enthusiasm to wider
company projects.

In this role you will report to the Marketing Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS



We're seeking a creative and detail-driven individual with a passion for luxury and heritage.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on marketing skills, and a natural affinity for storytelling.

Previous Job Experience:



3 - 5 years relevant experience Horological experience / interest is not required (but is preferable)

Educational:



No specific educational requirements

Essential:



Highly organised with excellent time management and a sharp eye for detail A confident and adaptable communicator, skilled in both short- and long-form
writing

Experienced in managing and growing social media platforms, particularly
Instagram and TikTok

Comfortable using AI tools and technologies to support marketing workflows and
creativity

Strong visual sense with an appreciation for brand consistency and aesthetics Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently Good telephone and written manner Microsoft Office (or equivalent) proficient

Desirable:



Previous experience in the luxury or heritage sector Knowledge of the watch industry or horology Apple Mac proficiency UK driving licence Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for events and brand
activations

SALARY AND BENEFITS



Holiday:



Holiday allowance: 20 days per year + public holidays. In addition: between Christmas and the New Year the company's head office is
closed and these days (usually 3-4) are in addition to your holiday allowance.

Benefits:



Birthday may be taken as an additional day off (this is in addition to your holiday
allowance)

Company pension with 5% contribution from Fears Ability to purchase a watch at wholesale price + VAT (after 1 year of employment)o Complimentary Fears watch (from the core range) after 5 years of employment

Salary:



30,000 - 36,000 per year basic salary (depending on experience).
