About the role:



This role is suitable for an individual with a background in marketing or communications, who is looking to further develop their skills and gain experience in a B2B environment. The Marketing Executive will help with the delivery of our omnichannel marketing strategy, working across several channels to create high quality content for our audiences. They will conduct research and analysis and use this to help formulate an engaging content plan that helps support the delivery of the company's objectives. We're looking for someone who is interested in technology and who can translate this interest into exciting, relevant content.

Key Responsibilities:



Produce high quality marketing materials to be used across the company Conduct market, competitor and trend research, presenting opportunities and risks Maintain and update the company website using the content management system (Wordpress), ensuring all content is relevant, accurate and optimised for SEO Manage the company's social media channels (LinkedIn at present), building an engaging content schedule, creating high quality content and managing any admin for the account(s) (replying to comments, scheduling, resharing employee/partner content) Create and manage the internal content library, ensuring new assets are available for staff to use in presentations and other applications Support the delivery of campaigns, ensuring alignment with key activities, adherence to timelines and the delivery of effective campaigns Operate under the guidance of all policies and procedures and promote an environment of continuous improvement

Experience



1+ year experience in a marketing or similar role - this could be a university placement year Degree level or equivalent training in a marketing or similar subject (PR, communications, business management) Experience of working with social media platforms, ideally for an organisation Experience of creating assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:



Excellent written and verbal communication Strong copywriting skills with an ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite Analytics for marketing Attention to detail Curious mindset and openness to learning Highly computer literate An interest in technology and how it can be applied to drive innovation within industries

Desireable:



Knowledge of a website content management system (We use WordPress) Experience in the technology/engineering sector
