The Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Marketing Executive to join our dynamic and growing team at HSEnergy Group. Reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key marketing projects, work autonomously, and play a critical role in shaping and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive business growth across both our residential and commercial divisions.
This is not a purely supporting role, we are looking for a confident, creative, and commercially-minded marketer who can work independently, manage external agencies, and make informed decisions that support our marketing and business objectives.
As part of our continued commitment to staff wellbeing and sustainability, we've also recently introduced an Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme, giving employees access to a tax-efficient way to drive an electric vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Ownership:
Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, offline, and event-based activity, ensuring they align with business goals.
Agency & Supplier Management:
Take full responsibility for briefing, managing, and evaluating the performance of external marketing agencies, including creative, digital, and PR partners.
Content & Brand Development:
Create, manage, and oversee the development of compelling content across websites, social media, email, and printed materials, ensuring all assets align with our brand identity and positioning.
Lead Generation & Nurturing:
Own the lead management process within the CRM system, ensuring leads are tracked, nurtured, and optimised to support the sales pipeline.
Project Management:
Take a supported lead on key marketing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and internal stakeholders are kept informed.
Performance Analysis:
Regularly review and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and recommend improvements.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Identify opportunities for innovation, monitor competitor activity, and feed insights into the marketing strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Commercial, and Operations, to ensure marketing activity supports broader business objectives.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a broad marketing role with exposure to both digital and traditional marketing channels.
Strong experience working autonomously and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Confidence in briefing and managing external agencies, from creative and web development to PR and digital marketing.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and message for different audiences and channels.
Solid understanding of SEO, Google Ads, social media platforms, and email marketing best practices.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and campaign reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Someone who is comfortable making marketing decisions independently and taking ownership of their work.
A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with internal teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
Experience within B2B or B2C industries, particularly within sectors related to renewable energy, technology, or construction, would be advantageous but not essential.
About Us
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. At HSEnergy Group, we value creativity, collaboration, and innovation, and we offer a supportive environment where your ideas are encouraged, and your professional growth is actively supported.
