What you'll be doing:
As the Marketing Executive you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Planning Manager in ensuring the team delivers consistent, high quality branded and commercial outputs, in a timely manner. You will take on various administration tasks throughout the team, including writing creative asset briefs, managing new product deliverables lists, and auditing product listings across all channels. You will be familiar with our product range, be on top of new product arrivals, and ensure we are deploying brand assets effectively and consistently across our owned channels (our websites and Third-Party channels (e.g. Amazon, The Range, Debenhams) - throughout the UK and Europe. You will collaborate with the wider Marketing team, including the in-house Creative Team, and the wider Commercial Team, to ensure content and assets are briefed, created, and deployed accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
You will work towards 3 main goals (aligned with the wider Marketing team):
1. Increasing Brand Awareness
2. Increasing Brand Engagement
3. Delivering an effective return on investment (ROI) on all marketing activity.
Key responsibilities
:
Maintain a consistent brand voice and presentation across all communications
Support the Marketing Team in delivering best in class marketing and creative output, across owned websites and Third Party Channels, by taking on various tasks including but not limited to:
Developing and overseeing creative asset briefs with the in-house graphic design team - including assets for product listings, marketing campaigns, and additional branded content.
Assisting with New Product Development (NPD) marketing administration and asset delivery (e.g. creative briefs for basic listings assets and enhanced listings content, organising product asset deliverables, and planning marketing activities for new product launches).
Ensuring deadlines are met, and supporting the Marketing Planning Manager in working to a new product critical path and marketing activity checklist.
Supporting with the creation and administration of content across various touchpoints (email marketing, blogs, organic social content, Amazon advertising, product packaging and paperwork, customer information and communications) - all ensuring consistent deployment of brand assets and messaging.
Assist the Marketing Planning Manager in working with Third Party channels (e.g. Amazon), including the B2B business, to ensure strong brand presentation, effective creative, and effective deployment of marketing initiatives available across the channels. Including, but not limited to:
Regularly auditing Third Party channel product listings to ensure imagery, product descriptions, and enhanced listings content are consistent and up to date.
Collaborating with the Commercial team to make changes to listings and brand content.
Ensuring assets and content are available for marketing opportunities on Third Party channels, including for key retail moments throughout the year (e.g. Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, Christmas).
Supporting in updating or creating other brand touchpoints on Third Party channels (where appropriate), e.g. Amazon Brand Storefronts.
Reviewing competitors brand content and listings on Third Party channels to drive improvements in brand presentation and generate improvements in conversion.
Assist the Marketing Planning Manager in managing the marketing proposition for the B2B Eden Learning Spaces business, while coordinating the input of the wider marketing team where necessary. Including, but not limited to:
Supporting in the deployment of new photography and descriptions for new products.
Supporting in regular email marketing activity and new marketing initiatives for the Eden Learning Spaces brand, including creating content for the website and briefing in new creative assets for Social Media.
Updating and administering the Eden Learning Spaces website when required.
Support the Marketing Planning Manager in ensuring the Customer is represented throughout the business, including the planning and execution of market research, data analysis, and feedback into the product development process.
Supporting in gathering market research & market opportunity data to inform the New Product Development cycle for each season.
Where appropriate, support in providing feedback and recommendations into the New Product Development process based on market insights, sales information, and product availability.
Working within the wider marketing team on any other additional duties and tasks, including but not limited to:
Supporting on photoshoots where required.
Supporting with larger administrative tasks such as the translation of product information or branded content, through our external agency and/or translation software (note - this is not actual translations/no language skills required).
Working on cross-department projects and tasks that involves the marketing team - such as Customer Communications and internal marketing presentations.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
We're looking for a person who...
Must:
Ideally have a relevant marketing or business-related degree, but a degree is not a formal requirement.
Have a good general level of education in core numeracy & literacy subjects.
Have proven experience of being highly organised and process-driven, including seeing tasks and projects through to completion, with a high degree of accuracy and pace.
Have proven ability to present information effectively to relevant internal stakeholders.
Be a demonstrable self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives working at pace.
Have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and shift workload to meet deadlines.
Be able to work with multiple teams including data, product, creative and commercial teams, aligning with business goals.
