Marketing Executive (data & Analytics Focus)

Cambridge, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Cambridge | Working Pattern:

Full-time, in-person (4-day week, Monday to Thursday)

Ready to help shape one of the UK's fastest growing re-commerce brands?

WeBuyVintage is looking for a smart, analytical and ambitious Marketing Executive with a passion for data and technology to join our growing team. You'll be joining at an incredibly exciting time -- helping shape the future of a brand that's scaling fast.

This is the perfect role for someone early in their marketing or analytics career who loves numbers, systems and problem-solving. You'll dig into the data that drives our growth, helping us understand what's working, where to invest, and how to make smarter marketing decisions. It's an opportunity to build hands-on skills across marketing analytics, campaign tracking, and automation -- while learning from experienced marketers in a fast-moving environment that embraces AI and new technology.

Who We Are

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK's largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company -- over 180 valuation events every month -- bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country. In less than two years, we've grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, and we're on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.

The Role

You'll be a key part of a small, dynamic team -- the person who makes sense of the numbers behind our marketing.

You'll gather data from multiple sources, turn it into clear reports, and use your findings to help guide real business decisions. One week you might be pulling ad performance data from Facebook and Google ads, the next you could be testing AI tools to automate reporting or helping us understand how leaflet marketing compares to digital.

This is a hands-on role where curiosity, accuracy and initiative will take you far. You'll be supported by senior marketers but given plenty of autonomy to experiment, learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Pull and consolidate marketing data from multiple sources (Facebook, Google Ads, roadshow receipts, and web analytics). Produce regular ROI reports for each event, region and channel. Analyse performance data to help decide which events to promote and how to allocate marketing budgets. Track the performance of leaflet campaigns versus digital channels. Collect and compile reports from agencies (ad performance, website analytics, etc.) into monthly summaries for the leadership team. Build dashboards or spreadsheets that make data easy to interpret across the business. Support in setting up campaign tracking (UTMs, conversion events, lead forms). Experiment with AI and automation tools to improve data reporting, insights, and workflow efficiency. Identify insights and trends that can improve campaign efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with the marketing team to test, measure, and optimise new initiatives. Support other business areas that need help understanding or visualising data.

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in data, analytics, and how numbers can drive smarter marketing decisions. Some experience or education in marketing, statistics, data analytics, computer science, or a related field (degree or equivalent experience). A passion for AI and emerging technology. You love experimenting with new tools and exploring how automation and AI can make data work smarter. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling data. Organised and reliable, with good time management skills. Comfortable learning new tools and platforms. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to experiment.

What We Offer

Competitive salary. 4-day working week. Opportunity to shape the future one of the UK's fastest-growing re-commerce brands. Collaborative, friendly environment with room to progress as the team expands. Direct mentorship from senior marketers and founders. Real ownership, variety, and exposure across all areas of marketing analytics and business strategy.

How to Apply

We'll only be looking at applications with a cover letter. Please send us your CV and a short note about why you'd be a great fit. If you have any immediate questions about the role please contact connie.s@webuyvintage.co.uk.
