The Role

As our Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key part in promoting our stock of trucks and commercial vehicles across digital channels. From creating engaging adverts to managing listings and running campaigns, you'll be central to how Hopdeals is seen online.

You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to make sure every truck gets the attention it deserves.

The role will also include some yard duties which will include moving vehicles around, to create content using videos / pictures.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage online adverts for trucks and commercial vehicles on platforms such as our website, Auto Trader, Facebook Marketplace, and other sales channels. Write compelling descriptions and headlines that attract attention and generate leads. Capture and edit photos and videos of vehicles to a high standard. Assist with social media marketing - creating posts, stories, and updates to promote new stock. Track advert performance and suggest improvements to increase engagement and conversions. Support general marketing activities, including email campaigns and website updates. Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and quality across all adverts and media.

Skills & Experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and creativity in presenting vehicles. Basic photography and photo-editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar). Experience with online advertising platforms or social media marketing is an advantage. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple listings at once. Interest in trucks, transport, or automotive industries is a big plus!
